Tour De Pyrenees

This week’s tour is a fantastic introduction to the central Pyrenees covering the regions of the Haute Garonne, Ariege and Haute Pyrenees

Starting at the PyrActif base in Bertren we start your tour with a introduction to the quiet roads of the Comminges with its rolling terrain, tucked away villages and picturesque valleys.  We then head East staying overnight in the town of St Girons before heading back to Bertren over the green and lush Cols of the Core and Portet d’ Aspet.

After a day off in Bertren we head West to the remarkable area of the Baronnies with it’s green lush valleys and villages that feel that time has passed them by. Staying the night in Bagners d Biggore we head for the Epic final day and climb the famous Col d Tormalet followed by the Col d Aspin

Day 4/ St- Girons - Bertren 107km, 2883m total climbing

• Col de la Core (1395m)
• Portet d Aspet (1069m)
• Option to ride over the Col de Mente (1349m)

Day 5/ Rest Day

Day 6/ Bertren- Bagneres de Bigorre 62km, 1386m total climbing(Over night stop Bagneres de Bigorre)

• Colde Coupe(766m)
• Col desPalomieres (810m)
• Option to ride over the Col de Mortis (841m) plus 22km

Day 7/ Bagner de Bigorre to Arreau 108km 3032m total climbing

• Col du Tormalet (2115m)
• Col d Aspin (1489m)
• (Option to ride to Bertren)plus 45km

Day 8/ Depart
