The area around Bertren presents a superb base for MTBers of all abilities. To the North are miles of low level, undulating trails and to the South, moderate to challenging mountain cols and ridges.

There are an estimated 400km of trails in the local area of the Barousse alone and hundreds more in the adjoining areas of Luchon, Le Mourtis and Comminges.

Your itinerary can be totally flexible. Just tell us what you want to achieve from your riding and we'll suggest tailored options of rides to suit your needs.

With the back-up of great bike-friendly accommodation, like-minded people to swap stories with over dinner, workshop facilities and great food to refuel you after your day on the bike this is the perfect package for the independent-minded rider who wants to 'follow their nose' out on the trails.

 

 

Please note that the routes we offer for Liberty MTB start from the PyrActif base at Bertren. If you wish to ride further afield it will be necessary to have your own transport.
