Established in the Pyrenees since 1994, PyrActif was founded by keen cyclists, Steve and Brenda Mead both from the UK. Over 13 subsequent years in the region, PyrActif has earned a widespread reputation as the leading expert cycling holiday firm in the French Pyrenees.

Catering for both road cyclists and mountain bikers, current owners Chris & Helen continue the 'run by cyclists, for cyclists' philosophy that has served the business so well. We organise our holidays and rides on the basis that you're with us to enjoy yourself. Whether you're in the advanced stages of training for a major event, looking for cross-country thrills on some 'steep stuff' or after a mix of relaxed riding and longish cafe stops, we'll put together a trip for you that ticks all the right boxes.

Conveniently situated about an hour from Toulouse and Pau airports (or 45 minutes from the Bike Express drop-off in Lourdes) our restored 19th century French farmhouse provides an idyllic base from which to enjoy the stunning scenery, welcoming hospitality and sensational riding of the Pyrenees.

For 2008 we have a range of superb value for money Etape du Tour options to add to our regular 'Classics'. Two Pyrennean Coast-to-Coast epics are already scheduled and filling up nicely; Grin Factor mountain biking is as popular as ever and there are Spring opportunities to work on your early season form with an Epic Cols 4-day 'raid'. If your priorities are around summer riding, then this year's Pyrennean stages of the Tour de France should provide a drama-packed backdrop to a great week's riding.
